Lecture Recording

I’ve put some lecture recording in one of my streaming servers http://140.127.185.245. Go to 節目介紹and find our course at the bottom of the listing. Audio quality in some of the recordings is not terribly good. Some lectures were not recorded successfully due to even more severe technical problems. Sorry, folks.

We will use most tcsh in this class. The man page of tcsh can be found here. You can find lots of other stuff by googling tcsh or csh.

Learning shell (reading material in Chinese)

First of all, let me remind you that this class is supposed to be taught completely in English. However, if you do need help to get a quick start on using shells, here are some writings in Chinese. You can find an introduction written by me here and by someone who calls himself 網路農夫 here. You can find a lot of UNIX-related material in his site, http://www.europa.idv.tw/.
